질염의 치료

질염의 종류는 단순한 편입니다.
1) 세균성 질염,2) 캔디다성 질염,3) 트리코모나스 질염 이렇게 세가지가 가장 흔한 질염이며, 외래에서 냉의 일부를 채취하여 현미경을 보면 (Wet smear) 쉽게 질염의 종류를 진단할 수 있습니다.

Wet smear로 진단하기 어려운 경우 PCR이나 배양검사를 통해 균의 종류를 확인한 후 치료를 시행하기도 합니다.

치료는 아주 특별한 경우를 제외하고는 약물치료만 하면 되며, 보통 세균성 질염은 7일, 캔디다성 질염은 단 1, 트리코모나스 질염도 7일간 약을 복용하면 됩니다. 물론 질정을 사용해도 되며, 치료 기간은 3-6일 정도 소요됩니다.
